The Location
Where Brampton Meets the Wild
Claireville Conservation Area is one of the GTA’s best-kept secrets for portrait photography. Open meadows bathed in golden hour light, wildflower fields, and dense pine forest with sunbursts breaking through the canopy — it’s all here, within Brampton. These sessions are cinematic, unhurried, and built around the kind of light that only exists for a few minutes each evening.
Claireville Location
Meadows, pine forest, wildflower fields and open sky — Claireville gives us a range of environments within a single session, all bathed in Brampton’s best golden hour light.
Golden Hour Timing
We time every session around the last hour of sunlight — when the meadow turns warm amber and the forest fills with sun flares. It’s the difference between a nice photo and one that stops people mid-scroll.
Relaxed Direction
You don’t need to know how to pose. We move through the location naturally — walking, turning, looking — and capture the moments that happen in between.
What to Expect
Your Golden Hour Session
We meet at Claireville around an hour before sunset and move through the location as the light shifts — starting in the open meadow and finishing in the pine forest as the sun drops behind the trees. The session is conversational and unhurried; we’re not rushing through a shot list, we’re building a gallery one real moment at a time.
